Digital Humanities
&
the Moving Image
This projects showcases my reflective and exploratory adventures in the intersection of Digital Humanities & Film Studies.
Interdisciplinary approach
I am keen on exploring approaches that foster collaboration among disciplines that have traditionally maintained distinct boundaries. Specifically, this involves the intersection of film archiving, film historiography, computer science, information science, design, and artistic research.
Weekly Reflections
Here, I offer weekly reflective blog entries that examine the assigned readings, locations, tools, and themes covered in the “Digital Methods Seminars.” These reflections are framed in relation to my personal research interests in film studies, focusing on questions, methodological decisions, and evolving perspectives on Digital Humanities.
“The film is the first art form capable of demonstrating how matter plays tricks on man.”
